- Usage data — pages and screens viewed, features used, time and duration of sessions, taps and clicks
- Approximate or precise location, where you have enabled the relevant device permission
- Information stored through cookies, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies (see our Cookie Policy)
1.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties such as payment processors confirming a transaction, anti-fraud providers performing risk checks, advertising partners attributing campaign performance, or — when you choose to do so — social-login providers passing on basic profile data.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Share Information
3.1 With Other Members
Your public profile (including the name you choose to display, photos you publish, and any details you mark as visible) is shown to other members so that the Service can fulfil its purpose. Messages, gifts, and reactions are likewise visible to the recipient.
3.2 With Service Providers
We rely on carefully selected partners to operate the platform. These vendors only process your data on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. They include:
- Cloud hosting and storage providers
- Payment processors and anti-fraud platforms
- Identity-verification providers
- Analytics, attribution, and crash-reporting tools
- Customer-support and ticketing platforms
- Email and push-notification delivery services
3.3 With Authorities and for Legal Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is required to comply with a law, regulation, court order, or valid request from a public authority, to protect our legal rights or those of others, or to investigate violations of our Terms.
3.4 Business Transfers
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and staff training. However, no online service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account, please contact us at info@luminadate.com immediately.
5. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy, and meet our legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Once you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our active systems within a short timeframe (typically 48 hours), except for limited information that we are required to retain — for example, transaction records used for tax or anti-money-laundering compliance, or data needed to defend legal claims.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Reviewing Your Profile
You can review and update most of the information stored about you directly from the "My Account" or profile-settings sections of the Service.
6.2 Notification Preferences
From your settings you can adjust which notifications you receive (push, email, in-app) and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in every promotional message.
6.3 Access, Correction, Deletion, and Portability
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention duties
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Receive a portable copy of the information you have provided to us
- Withdraw consent at any time when processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@luminadate.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your request, you can lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority of your country (in Poland: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO).
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Lumina uses cookies, local storage, mobile SDKs, and comparable tools to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, monitor performance, and (with your consent where required) measure the effectiveness of advertising. You can change your cookie choices at any time using the in-app cookie settings panel or your browser controls. Disabling some cookies may affect the way certain features work. For more details, see our dedicated Cookie Policy.
8. International Data Transfers
The Company operates internationally, and your data may be transferred to or accessed from countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we put in place appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms, to ensure that your information remains protected.
9. Children's Privacy
Lumina is intended exclusively for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe that a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact info@luminadate.com and we will take prompt steps to remove the information and close the corresponding account.
10. Links to Third-Party Sites
Our Service may include links to or content from third-party websites and applications. The operators of those services have their own privacy practices, for which we are not responsible. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an in-app or email notice. Your continued use of the Service after the update enters into force constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
